Wisdom from the bottle  //   Wednesday - February 22, 2006

Finally getting unpacked here at the new shelter and slowly but surely working to get back to my normally cycling grove and web updates. Thanks for the patience.

Magic Hat brewing makes fine Vermont beers (although I strongly dislike the apricot flavored #9) and have been putting witty phrases, micro poems and thought provoking words under their bottle caps for as long as I can remember. Kind of like beer fortune cookies. Most give me a smile or make me think. Some stand out more than others and some mesh right into my own cycling philosophy (see above). Check out the newly released seasonal H.I.P.A. or maybe you can still pick up the dark, delicious Heart of Darkness stout and find your own words of wisdom.

When you have a chance, make sure to go to Dirt Rag's web site. They've started posting some web exclusive content. Always supportive of the uni-cog contingent, one of the most recent things posted is a fixed gear article.

Go seek things out on two wheels.
