SSWC09  //   Thursday - March 18, 2010

So, I remember big cameras and talk of a documentary at the 2009 Single Speed World Championship in Durango. Anyone heard an update? Any progress? Would be cool to see a feature length movie but a short would satisfy me as well.

Seasons change  //   Wednesday - March 17, 2010

The clocks have moved forward, birds are chirping outside of my window in the mornings and all of the snow is gone. Big changes in a short time. I'll miss the snow but time to embrace this warm weather. The day hits 68F then a low of 38F at night. This is March?

Gearing up for a number of trail projects, the plate is full trying to get all of the pieces in place for our next phase of the Catoctin Trail build. Grant money means a lot more hoops to jump through. The stove is full, lots of pots simmering, need to keep an eye on all of them.

Greenbrier has a trail building day this Sunday, I'm not running the show, just will be on hand to help. Come out and work and you'll earn a free entry to the Greenbrier Challenge, that popular spring race that's also the MD State Championship. Check here for details.

For the locals:
The Japanese Gypsy rock of Kagero will be back at Cafe Nola in Frederick this Saturday. If you missed them last time don't make the mistake this weekend. They've got a fusion of styles that works well together and I guarantee you'll have a good time.
