Pump Track action  //   Thursday - July 24, 2008

Up in Chambersburg, PA my friend Larry has secured permission from the borough to build a pump track. Very cool to see that local officials see the value in this kind of recreation and not just baseball and soccer fields. They have even kicked in some funding for the project but there's a bit more money to be raised. So for the next couple of days skip that chocolate chip breakfast muffin (I didn't want to say anything, but you could lose a few) and go for the plain black coffee instead of the mocha latte frappapalooza (I know you need your caffeine) and throw that extra pocket change into the collection plate. Every little bit will help, it's for a good cause and if you are anywhere nearby, you'll have a cool place to ride. As Bartyl and James used to say, "Thank you for your support".
